It is truly overwhelmed to witness different creativity styles that’s why we are proud and happy to acknowledge each of the winners. Here’s our short interview with the META – 2D Character Still winner from India named Monika Mishra and find more about her winning piece “Eternal Love“.

  1. What is your inspiration to make the winning piece?

“As the name suggests, eternal love is what inspired my winning piece. Lord Krishna and his boundless love for Radha became the inspiration for this piece because I’m yet to come across any love story that’s more pure than theirs.”

  1. What are the challenges and experiences you faced during the making of your artwork?

“The one challenge I faced while starting this particular piece, and which is true for many other art piece I have made as well, is “what art to make now”? For me choosing the right subject is very important. The fact that it was a digital art was another challenge. In practice, digital art can be slightly difficult to put together. Because, digital tools don’t behave like traditional brushes. So using different colors and themes to send the right message can be tricky. However, I completed my artwork just the way I wanted.”

  1. Of all the digital arts you created, which one are you most proud of apart from your winning piece in META and why?

“Source of Positivity” is another piece I’m quite proud of. I think it is the closest reflection of me as an artist. I also won a state level award for that piece.”
